I like your EFI conversion. Simple. It that the TBI set-up from a Geo Metro? did it result in more hp?

What are the electrical outlets on the center console for? Not exactly automotive connectors there buddy.

There's a thread somewhere detailing the swap with pictures. Do a search.

The TBI is from a 1989-1991 Suzuki Swift SOHC 1.3L 4-cylinder. Ideal because they also had mechanic advance distributors like the 3A. Anything newer would require locking the 3A dizzy and living with the timing curve of a 1.3L Swift. The Geo Metros of the same year range have basically the same TBI, but they are 3-cylinder engines. The 7000 RPM rev limiter of the 3-cyl would translate to around 5200 RPM with a 4-cyl.

Use a TBI setup from a 1996-1997 4-cyl Metro/Swift and you'll have an OBDII 4WD Tercel!

I have no idea if it made more power or not. But it runs awesome. It's a single 38mm throttle body. Flows enough air to make 70 HP in the Suzuki.

Those outlets aren't connected to anything. :)

Didn't you originally start the Yahoo T4WD group? Which then moved to this forum?

Never could figure out why the EFI conversion didn't catch on instead of the more expensive Weber conversion....

Good to see that Hornbeam is still up and running.....

I don't know who started the Yahoo group, but I know it wasn't me. Great avatar!
