rear bumper removal
open back door
push back rug
pull rubber plugs on both sides
that will give you access to the 4 bolts
Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.

Try a heavy duty(variable load) flasher, typically used for towing. They don't care about bulb count to flash correctly.

sound like a cool mod. based on my limited knowledge of flasher theory i would say that the difference between the amp draw from the front to rear is causing it. if the bulbs from the parking lights have the same draw as the original signal lights it should act the same right? maybe you could retro fit the parking lights with the signal bulbs/ find bulbs that fit that draw more or less and beef up the circuit or find a vehicle with the same draw on all four corners as you're current set up and use that flasher.

They are right next to the regular flashers. The HD are always bigger. Any reputable parts supplier should be able to set you up. Maybe even wallymart. They are about $10.

As far as where the flasher is on the car, can't remember. Haven't had any flasher troubles yet. Luckily yours still works so just follow the click....

Good luck!

search the threads, Barto's build thread has Nissan Pathfinder rear springs (I just recently bought a set for mine at the yard), and most lift the front by making a shim spacer for the top of the strut. Do not lift the front too much, it changes the angle on the CV joint and the steering link. Lift the front more than about 1" should get other changes to keep everything in alignment.

There is also a thread on other front struts that might fit, the Corolla All-Trac strut is larger diam and about 3/4" longer, and should bolt up with some minor changes.

The pathfinders made from '86 to about '94 had a separate frame and body, the later ones had the unibody chassis. Any of the earlier ones would work. The earlier 2 door model ('86-89) might have a lighter spring which I would suggest, or you have to get longer shocks (or cut the a coil or two off the spring) since it will raise the rear 3 or more inches. Go check out the Barto's Build thread.
