It's too bad you're 1,800 miles away from me. My car is up for grabs for the first $100 that comes my way. Drivetrain works fine, but the body is shot.

It will most likely be a LOT easier on yours than it will be on mine. If I tried to remove a fender from mine, the whole car would probably fall apart......

(BTW, my car is around 75% rust, 20% metal, and 5% air where metal and rust USED to be)

crikey... SR = salted rust! Heh, you've never seen mine, then. I've parked it indefinitely due to the rust. I'll give you a hint : the driver's rear mud flap fell completely off and the jack storage area has no bottom to it. The rocker panels are gone, as is half the subframe behind them. There's a...

The only problem with that is that a lot of people using that code use just a small hardly noticeable word to replace the URL...and if you are reading fast you can miss the link all together. I'm surprised some don't use periods for the link. Heh, in that case I put the words "Link clicky"...

A little posting ettiquette

Just a tidbit of information for those posting REALLY long URL's such as eBay links. If you use the {url= your/url/here }linky text{/url} while replacing the "{/} with "[/]", it'll look like this instead of http://tercel4wd.com/forums/index.php Just a head's up that'll make all of our...

I hate you Typrus. The absolute best I've ever gotten out of mine was 22mpg.

Normally it's around 18.

Skullone, please edit your post so that you are using the URL tags. Your super long links always make for extended pages which means I stop reading the topic and go onto the next.

Keith, from what I understand, the only type of antifreeze sold around here is Propylene Glycol. I haven't found anything but. It even has the charts on the back listing the freezing temperatures and the percentages. And the 100% point on the chart drops it down to -76 degrees F.

Are you 100% sure the distributor isn't 180 degrees out? A timing light verifying ignition timing on an engine 180 out will still light up at TDC on the crank. If that's not the case, pull a plug or two and squirt a little gas in the cylinder, put the plugs back in and turn it over. If it coughs, yo...

That reminds me, I've got to go get a pic of mine blowing a snow drift apart.

Either that or a pic of it driving along my ditch. The ditch is about 3 feet deep and the snow has drifted right across it.

Also on the subject of higher concentrations of antifreeze : I'll use the three running vehicles I have out in the driveway as examples. They are ALL running 100% antifreeze in them. One is a tired old 335,000 miles Chevy small block V-8. The other is my Toyota. The other is a mildly high performanc...

So long as the bolt holes a 4X100mm

I've got three rims off an early 80's Mustang and one off a late 80's Dodge Aries with P175/65R14's.

Hollywood Squares

Yeah, I know they are old, but they are still funny- If you remember the OriginalHollywood Squares and its comics, this may bring a tear to your eyes. These great questions and answers are from the days when " Hollywood Squares" game show responses were spontaneous, not scripted, as they a...
